Ice Skating at Ponderlodge.

so we went to the ponderlodge for something to do. packed the skates and hockey sticks and balls just in case we got lucky and the ponds were frozen ; which we did ! my dad was the guinea pig and it was funny to watch him skoot out slowly to check if the ice was safe further and further. he would make end points where we couldnt go past but everytime he did we went anyway. we finally figured out that the whole pond was at least a good 2 inches thick of frozen ice and who know`s how much deeper. that was just what we could see. soo the boys threw on the skates and started skating ! we had fun played a little ice hockey ; skated around ; and just had a blast with each other !







half way through ryan had to pee. THAT BOY CAN WHIZ ! it was like a loooong stream flying over hahahaha it was hilarious ! i tried to outline it in the pic ; look hard !



so then it started to get chilly so we packed it up to go home. on the walk back to the truck this little lonesome duck was freezing and slipping on the ice it was so cute !



the rest of the walk we just nature walked. checked out birds ; dog prints ; found some dog treats ( that we brought home for pradah ) and whistled in a-corn shells. what a better way to spend the day .

OH YEAH AND BY THE WAY THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE EVERYTHING OUT OF MY DADS MOUTH WAS "ONE TIME IN MEDFORD" AND HE TOLD THIS STORY ABOUT THIS BOY THAT HE ALWAYS FOUGHT WITH AND ONE TIME IN THE SUMMER THEY WERE AT THE LAKE SWIMMING AND HE SET THE BOYS FLIP FLOP ON FIRE IN THE WATER AND LEFTED IT OUT THERE. THE KID CRIED AND WENT HOME !! HAHA I LOVE WHEN MY DAD TALKS ABOUT " ONE TIME IN MEDFORD" !
